BEHIND THE DRUMS



​Beginning as a young drummer, Chris Palmerin has always been actively involved with the Chicago music scene. Palmerin keeps busy with many projects, mainly within the Rock genre. Much of Palmerin's technical background experience comes from orchestral training and private drumming ranging in Rock, Jazz, Latin, Middle Eastern, and electronic/ambient. Despite his differential background, Palmerin has always focused in the Rock genre with tasteful Rock songwriting methods. 

Palmerin is an extreme contributor to many of his musical projects. Any of his musical peers can assure you that he loves a good songwriting challenge. His passion and determination makes him a vibrant factor as a great drummer and excellent songwriter. To Chris, the musical balance is whats most important about any project.



Palmerin has appeared on numerous TV and Radio Media shows such as NBC's upcoming artists program Nbeat, Chicago Public access 24/7, Chicago Redeye Newspaper, WKQX Q101.1 FM, WXRT 97.9 FM, and WXAV 88.3 FM.



On the Road, Palmerin performs the Midwest region and frequently appears at some of the top Chicago venues like House of Blues, The Metro, and majority of Chicago's small club and bar venues.



Palmerin currently resides in Chicago, IL as a rock drummer for two bands. (Comasoft, Antony and The Tramps). Between touring and local gigging, Palmerin spends his time crafting his technique and collaborating among his peers. Palmerin is also working with film director Juan Montelongo on a independent documentary film about hardship and struggle of a musician's life.
